Need to be a member of "Ubuntu Etherpad" to access Ubuntu Btrfs notes?

Asked by Stefan Lasiewski

I would like to review the Ubuntu Summet notes regarding Btrfs, which are here:

http://summit.ubuntu.com/uds-o/meeting/16399/foundations-o-update-manager-btrfs/

If I try to access this page after authenticating, I get the following error:

OpenID Authentication Required

Authorization is required to access http://pad.ubuntu.com/uds-o-foundations-o-update-manager-btrfs
Please join the ubuntu-etherpad group on Launchpad to access this site. To do this, visit https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-etherpad/
You are currently logged in as https://login.ubuntu.com/+id/blahblah. (logout)

Why do I need to be a member of Ubuntu Etherpad to access this document? I thought "Etherpad" is just another piece of software, and has nothing to do specifically with the Ubuntu Community.

Is this intentional, or is this a bug? As a user of Ubuntu, can I access the Ubuntu Summet notes with my regular login credentials?

Yes I see that. But what is "Ubuntu Etherpad" (There is no description on https://launchpad.net/~ubuntu-etherpad/ ), and what does it have to do with notes from the Ubuntu Summit? Why do I need to be a member of Ubuntu Etherpad to view those notes?

As far as I can tell, Etherpad is just another package for Ubuntu:

If you use the link, you will satisfy the first proposition in the error you gave.....

Can you help with this problem?
