how do i down grade from gusty back to feisty

is there a way to down grade back to feisty without losing any files or having to make copies of everything i have on my hard drive?ever sense the upgrade my computer keeps crashing and i can't adjust the screen to fit my monitor and i freeze up at lease twice an hour. any suggestions would be helpfull, thanks.
