can't run eclipse on kubuntu gutsy

I haven't been able to run eclipse.

I followed the instructions on https://help.ubuntu.com/community/EclipseIDE and tried changing /urs/bin/eclipse,
after this I get the following.

 /usr/bin/eclipse: 47: /opt/eclipse/eclipse: not found

Can someone help me in installing eclipse. I use adept manager and I'm really new at this. I need to know how to install it from the begining.
I think I am missing something to do with java.
