my wife really wants to be able to see image thumbnails when attaching photos to yahoo mail. Can I configure the window system to do this?

She's upset that Windows XP would let her browse and switch the view from details to list to thumbnail. I tried myself, and there was no changing from the window area, no right-click change I could do. I thought maybe there would be a default I could configure for a browse window such as this.

Open the desired photos directory with Nautilus:
Main menu: Places->Home Folder .....

Then on top-right listbox select View as icons and increase the zoom value

close your photo directory and reopen it your setting must be unchanged (for that directory)
