How to configure Firestarter to automatically start with net connection ?

Please help me configure FireStarter to start on startup of Net connection.

Presently I have downloaded the Firestarter package and installed it by using the Ubuntu software Resource center, but each time I connect to the net, I need to manually start the Firestarter, which in most cases I forget.

I have gone through the Install Wizard and installed it. Maybe I have not installed it correctly.

Which is the best way to install a fire wall for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS

3. Are there any better firewall suggestions ?

You don't need firestarter to run to have the firewal up. Firestarter is only a GUI to iptables which is a service that runs on boot. iptables is the firewall, not Firestarter

Does it mean that I need not do any thing to have the Firewall up, and
that it is an automated process?

How can i be sure that the firewall is in place. Do I need to do
anything else to configure it or fine tune it?

Yes, you have used firestarter and have set the rules. Firestarter exists because people either cannot or are too lazy to learn iptables commands. The iptables service runs at startup and is the firewall. Firestarter is just a configuration gui
