Help. There is a password when i turn on my computer.

When i turn on my computer it prompts me for a password and i dont know what it is to use my computer. Is there something i can type in to bypass it so that i may disable the password option on my computer? Please help i havent used my computer in a week. Oh yeah i have uinbuntu 10:10

By default, it's the same as your system account password.

If you forgot your password, delete "login" keyring in Seahorse, then create another one with the same name and new password (you can keep it empty to not be asked for it), and set it as default.
