downloading server 7.1 64 amd

Asked by Ella Lee

I have downloaded the md5sum software and the InfraRecorder. I followed the directions for downloading and iso file. I downloaded the server software this morning. When I clicked to download the software the next box asks which software to open with, (I selcected the INfrarecorder), and clicked save to disk. The software downloaded an NTI file, but when I check the properties, It was an Infrarecorder file. I burned the software and opened it from the burned cd to check. All the icons are white squares with blue on top, like a window icon. I don't think that it is write. How do I fix this?

If you have downloaded and save the .iso file on your hard disk you must open the InfraRecorder burn software and try to burn iso image from it.

This page may help you: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/BurningIsoHowto

To install Ubuntu server you must boot your computer from the burned cd
