Want Ubuntu coherence mode with Parellels.

With Ubuntu as my virtual machine using the Parallels 6 interface, I am not operating in Coherence Mode (i.e., must depress Control-Option keys to free up the pointer).

I´m new to both Parallels and Ubuntu. I´m using a MacBook Pro with Lions OSX 7.

I suggest to you to ask for help on MAC forum, parallels is an only-osx software.

Same advise. Issue is probably in Parallels, which is not very used in Ubuntu community.
