no boot option

hi all my windows xp is installed on the d: drive i installed ubuntu on the c: drive but wen i reboot its not showing any boot option it just directly boot in windows ?

bootstrap loader is software that you need to, load your OS into RAM .Linux grub a bootstrap loader is capable of loading differnent OS including xp and vista but windows loader can load only windows xp,vista.. etc

Installing windows after linux will overwrite linux grub loader with window NT loader .To recover grub loader just follow this link

the probleme i have is windos is on a diferent hdd that linux so the hdd linux is C and the hdd windows is D

but the computer load the D first and boot windows what i founs is wen the computer boot i can press esc and it show up device i can boot so i can select the other hdd and the grub open

so the solution ill try is go into my bios and try to change what hdd boot first maybe thats my probleme

ok i try it and that was my probleme my boot sequence work perfectly now

need to start learning linux how to use the terminal and install stuff
