not really, You will select the kernel at bootup (unless you know some Grub2 magic to add the release name to the entry (very possible)). It's a bit of a bloat but totally doable

I have no control to select the kernel at boot up time, being a noobie trying to do things in order are blocked by ???? directions cannot be followed because of the bloat ( not being sarcastic) jaburk123
