ubuntu 7.04 live cd hangs while boot

I am using ubuntu 7.04 live cd which i recieved from shipit
i have sucessfully installed this disk on a intel pentium4 2.29GHz, 845g chipset, 256 MB of RAM
but this disk unable to boot in intel 2.93 GHz, intel 915p chipset MB, Nvidia mx 4000, 256 MB RAM
when i select "start or install" yellow progress bar starts moving
but ubuntu did not load at all and it seems that disk stoped
is there any method to solv this problem?

Try to use the safe graphics mode or the text-based installation.

Nitish, for how much time, did you allow the yellow progress bar to keep moving, i mean how much time did you wait for it to run. It may take time, else the best way is to use, an ubuntu-alternate install cd.

Mr. Sajinsj,
    I allowed the yellow progress bar to keep moving for 10 to 15 minute.
   Actually the problem was with my old Nvidia Graphics card.
The problem was solved by booting the kernel using "noapic" flag.
