How can I get a dictionary tooltip in ubuntu?

Hi

I use dictionary tooltip in firefox - when you mark a word and click it , you get a tooltip window with translation data of the word

Does anyone know something familiar in Ubuntu ?

What you're looking for is a Software named StarDict

Install it by:
sudo apt-get install stardict stardict-tools

Run it from Apps. > Accessories and follow the instructions you may have to for installing the Dictionaries as required.
