error 8. How do I resolve?

I use win32 Disk Imager. As soon as I try to wite an image to the sd card, the following message is displayed: An error occured when attempting to get a handle on the file. Error 8.

Please help me to resolve this problem.

Have you tried unetbootin?

Be sure you have MD5 tested the ISO so you know it is complete and consistent.

Thank you, the problem was resolved. The lock switch on the sd card was on.
