Booting 7.10 Server Takes a Long Time

I just installed 7.10 - Server on VMware Virtual machine and after the installation, booting up from the hard disk took a very very long time before getting the login prompt. It seems to get stuck at:

* Running local boot scripts (etc/rc.local)

Anyone experienced the same thing before ?
