Intel Dot Station C-300

I am installing Ubuntu on a C-300 Intel Dot Station with 128 MB RAM.. it goes through till the opening screen and them it seems to freeze at the Window Manager part and doesn't seem to move ahead. I had removed the swap file before this and this seems to have caused the problem. Earlier (before the swap partition was deleted) it would go through but it wouldn't install.

Please help..

It seems that 128 mb without any swap disk is too less for an install from the live cd.. another site got me the solution by a console install.. for more detail click on the link..
