problem with detailed battery indicator

I installed detailed- battery-indicator in natty, and at first run as usual it asked whether to replace default battery applet or not, i pressed yes. but after a reboot, i found that both indicators are missing from the notification area. I tried it in the power-management, and selected 'always show' the battery indicator, and when i did, it is showing both the default and newly installed applet. and if i select 'never show'. both of it gets hidden. i need only the 'detailed-battery-indicator' to be shown in the notification area. what should i do for it?
