ubuntu on 32 bit computer

i am trying to istall linux ubuntu 7.10 on a 32 bit computer id like to know do they make a 32 bit version and is it possible that there is a way to make it work

Yes there is a 32 bit version; the "Standard personal computer" release will work with 32-bit processors:

http://www.ubuntu.com/getubuntu/download

Please ensure you do not download the 64-Bit or SPARC versions.

Ubuntu by default, has always come built for 32-bit systems and they sure work great!

Choose 7.10 Desktop and for "Standard personal computer"
