wifi not working on battery

i'm using 10.10 netbook remix. if I switch off the power supply wifi is still enabled but there is no data transfer. Suppose am loading a particular page in browser and i switch off the power supply the page stops loading then itself.

What is the output of:

i need the answer desperately. I just wanted to add that if in a state when there is no power the connection is there but no data transfer takes place but if I switch on the wifi radar application I can access internet.

All I can suggest is log a bug. Your ACPI is being weird.
