Key for @

Asked by Carsten

Dear All,

We have a keyboard 65T (Italian) for windows and the operating system used is Linux Ubunto 7.04. The key @ will not be shown on the monitor. Could you tell me how it's possible to find the @ key? thank you in advance.

Regards,
Carsten

If the question is how to have your keyboard output the @ character, then have a look here:

http://egarc.ku.edu/software/keyboards/italian.html

You have to press AltGr (on the right of the space bar) together with the ò key.

Thank you for your answer, but unfortunately it did not solve my problem, because there is no AltGr on the keyboard used. There is a key for @, but when using this key the sign will not be seen at the monitor

Carsten. The AltGr key is just the right hand Alt key. If you haven't got a right hand Alt key, tell us what you see when you press the @ key.
Regards Laurence.
