ubuntu as a secondary

Asked by unklpoo

Can Ubuntu be used on a "slave" drive while windows xp is on the primary?
And if so, will I be able to access either, at will?

having a dual/triple booting system with 2 or 3 hard drives is no problem. you can switch your o/s at boot up
i have windows xp on a 40 gig and ubuntu on my 160 gig and vista in a 80 gig only the 160 is a serial drive.
install your windows first then ubuntu and ubuntu will make a boot[grub menu] screen for you to choose what o/s you want to use.
