device lookup failed

Dear Sirs

After a dramatical upgrade from feisty to gutsy, the upgrade tool stoped after files downloading and I upgraded all pakages using adept, now my laptop (acer aspire 3004WLMI) don't leave me to login and in background it runs a process (may be udevd) that put continuously in stdout (console) a message: [increasing number] : device mapper: table 254:3: linear: dm-linear: device lookup failed.
What happen? What I have to do to get working gutsy? Feisty worked very well.
Please help me.
