How can I disable the insert key?

Asked by Matt Austin

I have a slightly different keyboard layout at home than at work - I keep accidentally pressing the insert key.

How can I disable the insert key on my keyboard?

Cheers.

Install XKeyCaps by:
sudo apt-get install xkeycaps

Next, run it by pressing Alt+F2 and entering:
xkeycaps

In the window, abort the first dialog box, and then click on your Insert key displayed there and choose Disable.
