Asked by james_tovar

Ubuntu 11.04 just installed. Have only tried to install FreeBASIC fro www.freebasic.net

1st "downloads available" notice, (15 udates). Tried to download but said:

My connection is working, since I am sending this message. Rebooted in safe mode, retried and same results. Please advise a.s.a.p. Is this a virus? Should I reinstall U11.04? Nothing else seems to be wrong.

Thanks in advance.

Best regards,
james

The repos are being updated, you will get this when this happens. Wait half an hour, then run:

sudo apt-get update; sudo apt-get -y upgrade

Should be ok

It looks like a glitch in the repository. You're not in fault in any way, shape, or form.

The files are actually not there, guess we will need to wait a little longer.

Can you help with this problem?
