Can I install the K Desktop Environment over Ubuntu Server 6.06?

I'm going to be installing the Ubuntu Server 6.06 edition on my Dell server. I want the server edition for the LAMP capabilities. Is there a way to put the K Desktop Environment on the server install? Or can I only use GNOME?

Sorry, I'm pretty new to Linux and don't really know what's available to me.

Yes you can. Just install KDE, for example by tipping "sudo aptitude install kubuntu-desktop".
