Configuration of a printer with a print server

Breezy has support for HP Jetdirect printers, however I have not tested it myself. I would expect that putting in the correct IP, port, and driver in Breezy add printer wizard would allow you to print.

If you haven't installed Breezy yet then try the LiveCD. The live CD will allow you to test out the distro before you use it.

Once in Gnome you should be able to the printer settings from System->Administration->Printing

Keep in mind that the LiveCD might not be completely error-free with stuff like this.

There are HP drivers included in the vanilla install of Breezy.

I've solved in part the problem, but I changed into Kubuntu.
But The prolem isn't solved at all.
In fact the Print Server has the possibility of linking 3 printers: but actually it 'sees' only with the first printer. This because, I think, I gave it the Print Server address like the priner address. But in the Print Server's manual there aren't any information abount linux OS but only about Windows and MacOS.

Έχοντας συνδέσει τον εκτυπωτή μου στον print server του usr9108 και αφού εγκατέστησα το ubuntu 7.10, παρατηρώ ότι δε μπορώ να τυπώσω. Έχω ορίσει τον εκτυπωτή ως δικτυακό ipp με διεύθυνση http://192.168.1.1:1631/printers/My_Printer

Οποιαδήποτε ιδέα θα είναι παραπάνω από πολύτιμη...
