What printer driver to use for Konica Minolta 2400W Color Laser Printer?

I checked the Konica Minolta Site and this is what it states...

Other computer operating systems such as MS-DOS (including any DOS applications, DOS sessions, DOS windows, or command line prompts opened from the MS Windows environment), Macintosh, UNIX, Linux, OS2, OS-400 or Netware are not supported and our company does not provide a Raster printer driver for these operating systems. As an alternative, Crown versions of the DeskLaser series do support these and other computer operating systems.

oddlt enough Gutsy detects that there is a Konica Minolta 2400W but does not install a driver for it. I tried using the other available drivers for 2480DL and 2490DL but nothing goes through to the printer. It seesm the 2400W is a Raster Printer and not a Postscript printer which the 2480DL and 2490DL are.

Any help would be appreciated.

(I'm trying to convert my girlfriend over to Ubuntu because her XP system has just been constantly crashing and freezing for months even after a re-install. I just need to ensure functionality and compatibility with her system and her specific needs. I'm still trying to work out the compatibility issues with the Webcam, and Scanner, to name a few.)

Thanks I saw that but none of the files are debian files so I can't use them with Ubuntu...and I'm not savy enough to recompile anything.

With Ubuntu, there is now a package called "m2300w" that will install drivers for "Minolta 2300W & 2400W". Installed that first, relaunched System->Admin->Printers, then I was able to choose the appropriate driver. That package would probably do good to also add "Konica Minolta" (case-sensitive?) for automatic detection as opposed to plain old Minolta.
