Ubuntu 7.10 AMD64 installation Problems

I get through the Start/Install screen, then the bar goes back and forth for a while.
Then it scolls through all that stuff and keeps saying [OK] then when it goes to boot the disk I guess, my screen goes black and stays that way..
I have an HP Paviliiondv600, AD Turion64x2, and it's a Gforce 6500 nvidia card I think.
HELP PLEASE, I got a headache now

Only 7.10 does that or it's the same with 7.04? The safe graphics mode doesn't work too?

Try pressing f6 instead of start and install and adding "noapic noloapic" to the kernel options (without quotes after a space).
