can my aptoncd of ubuntu6.10 works on 6.06

Hi My Name is Abhishek. I have take backing up the packages which I have previously downloaded and installed via apt-get and synaptic package manager through aptcon cd tools in ubuntu 6.10. My concern is that will it work under ubuntu6.06 to restore backup;

No this won't work. You will run into a *lot* of version conflicts.
