Problem installing software on 7.10 RC

Asked by boggtj01

When I run Update Manager on 7.10 RC I go to install the updates and everytime I receive this error message:

E: tzdata: subprocess post-installation script returned error exit status 10
E: util-linux: dependency problems - leaving unconfigured

When I hit close/okay on the error message box Update Manager then checks again for any updatese and displays the same ones I was trying to install.

How can I fix this?

I had the same problem, deleting the content of /etc/timezone and running it again should fix it.

sudo rm -r /etc/timezone should do it I think
