need a link or site to learn how to put a lamp server on web

i have Ubuntu server 7.04 and have no idea how to make a domain name or find the IP address on my modem (simply put im screaming "im a noob"). i would like to know how to put the server on the web so that i and all my friends can access it and have our own site to store files for people to access from anywhere. please help me. tell me a link or try to explain it to me

     You can go to help.ubuntu.com and then search the community docs tabs and there you can find the help on setting up the web server.
