PRO/Wireless 2915ABG MiniPCI Adapter, Intel Centrino, detected but not accessing

Asked by panphilla

I have a PRO/Wireless 2915ABG MiniPCI Adapter running on a Dell Inspiron 6000 with Intel Centrino. Dapper detects the card, but I am unable to access the internet wirelessly, even with my WEP key. Can anybody help?

What do you mean you are "unable to access the internet wirelessly"? How are you trying to connect?

I also have a possible WEP problem. My dual boot system works fine in windowsxp through a 3com USB wifi stick, but inDapper the wlan is detected, but does not connect to lan or internet. I'm going to try with the WEP switched off on the router to see if this is the problem.

Can you help with this problem?
