why use a dialog for messages in networkmanager-vpnc

Asked by Novastorm

When connecting to a vpn connection, and the connection successfully completes, a message of the day is popped up in a dialog box in the background (does not gain focus automatically) and you must click OK to close it. Previously in feisty this MOTD was displayed in a comment bubble that disappears automatically. Just wondering why this was changed? I much prefer the old method of a comment bubble.

Looks like an upstream (meaning a change upstream of ubuntu) change, you can see the changes @ http://cia.vc/stats/project/gnome/NetworkManager
Thanks,
