Card reader in Natty A3 right click menu "eject" feature

Asked by Mark Nighswonger

You can unmount the built in card reader without a problem. But there is also an eject choice offered. If you select that you get this result:
Error detaching: helper exited with exit code 1: Detaching device /dev/sdb
USB device: /sys/devices/pci0000:00/0000:00:1d.7/usb1/1-5)
SYNCHRONIZE CACHE: FAILED: No such file or directory
(Continuing despite SYNCHRONIZE CACHE failure.)
STOP UNIT: FAILED: No such file or directory

I don't know if that selection should not show up in this instance or if it needs to be there for other devices.

Okay it's getting late and that got posted bassackwards. "Eject" unmounts the SD card properly. The "Safely remove hardware" selection does appear to unmount, because the pendrive icon is removed from the desktop but generates the error message. There is also a pendrive icon on the Unity panel that will not go away until the card is removed.
