TrueCrypt is broken after updating to kernel 2.6.20-16

after updating I get this error when using truecrypt:

insmod: error inserting '/usr/share/truecrypt/kernel/truecrypt-2.6.20.ko': -1 Invalid module format
FATAL: Module truecrypt not found.
Failed to load TrueCrypt kernel module

I have removed and reinstalled truecrypt with no luck. Any suggestions?
