CD.iso to DVD-R?

I don't have any CDs lying around, and all I have is DVD-Rs. My question is:

I have the CD iso file for Ubuntu 7.04, would I be ok if I copied the iso to a DVD-R disk?

Yes, it will be ok. No problem at all.
For an CD for the PC is ok. Not for an audio CD for the car or something like this.
