Bryan Proffit in his book Introducing Ubuntu 7.o4, says: to install dial-up go to Syst>Adm>Network. After you finish with Network Settings, click Modem Connection; then click Properties. The settings for Interface ppp0 dialog box will open. Click the ENABLE This Coonection check box.
So far I haven't done this part. Good luck!

Can you help with this problem?
