Canon Pixma IP1800 drivers

Cannot get my printer working. When I try to print something, only the green light is blinking for some seconds. Noticed that my printer isn't in the drivers list. Will it be supported soon? I'm using Ubuntu 7.04.

P.S. Printer is working normally on Windows

Wait 11 days and try 7.10.This version will support fully automatic printer installation.

Patrice, thx for the link. I have 7.10. Just dwnlded the two drivers there & clicked 'Open' on each in the Firefox dwnld window. Ubuntu can now 'see' the ip1800 & I printed the test pg for the 1st time.

Up until now I also had only been getting "..only the green light is blinking.." BobE
