Update Gnome to 2.20

Just wondering what the instructions are for upgrading to Gnome 2.20 on Ubuntu 7.04. I have used Garnome to build, but where do I go from there?

I dont really want to wait for the next Ubuntu to come out, since the beta has screwed up my system completely when I did an upgrade (4 times now).

I suppose you completed the compilation with Garnome? That's quite an amazing task to accomplish.
There is a process to get the compiled GNOME 2.20 to run on your distro.
Follow the steps from

Another option for users to get a taste of GNOME 2.20 is to use the images from
http://torrent.gnome.org/
