Enabling Super (Windows) key on gutsy

Asked by Rafael Sachetto

How can I enable the Super (Windows) key on gutsy?
This key is not working so I can't use compiz shortcuts.

I've tried to put

Option "XkbOptions" "altwin:super_win"

on my InputDevice section, but it doesn't work.

rafael@rafael-laptop:~$ xprop -root | grep XKB
_XKB_RULES_NAMES_BACKUP(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "us-intl", "intl", "lv3:ralt_switch"
_XKB_RULES_NAMES(STRING) = "xorg", "pc105", "us-intl", "intl", "lv3:ralt_switch"

Hi:

Have a look at your settings in:
System -> Preferences -> Keyboard
then go to Layout Options, then look at Alt/Win key behavior, in my settings I have Default and it works well

When I try to configure this I get:

Error activating XKB configuration.
It can happen under various circumstances:
- a bug in libxklavier library
- a bug in X server (xkbcomp, xmodmap utilities)
- X server with incompatible libxkbfile implementation

X server version data:
The X.Org Foundation
10300000

If you report this situation as a bug, please include:
- The result of xprop -root | grep XKB
- The result of gconftool-2 -R /desktop/gnome/peripherals/keyboard/kbd
