Will there be a dist-upgrade option from one LTS distribution to the next?

Just a question: Do you plan to provide dist-upgrade from one LTS release to the next? ie from from 6.06 LTS to 8.04 LTS etc.

Not right now but as of this moment there has only been one single LTS release. There is a Spec and a blueprint for LTS upgrades here:

As you can see, not a lot of activity on this yet but expect to see that change quite fast once Gutsy is out as this feature is very important for business clients in my opinion.
