Asked by lloyd

I have both ubuntu and xubuntu 7.04 installed on my laptop and want to remove the x version to get more disk space. How do I go about that?

Open the terminal and type:
sudo apt-get install gparted

Then open gparted and format the partition with xubuntu.

remember: if you have installed xubuntu after ubuntu then you have to fix the bootloader.

gparted installed OK but when I try to open I get a message theat Root priviledge is required.
