About using Wine to run Windows Operating System

Hello
I installed wine software to run Windows but it seems I cant open nothing yet. In order to Install correctly and to open Windows XP, for example, in wine software in Ubuntu what do I have to do?

Thanks for your question. Wine is not a virtual machines (to run windows xp you need it). Wine is a set of windows api to run application like office, IE ecc..
If you want to run other O.S. in your ubuntu machines you can use qemu:
