Installer does not have sufficiently new kernel to support Via SATA hard drives

My "ASUS MX SE" Mother board needs pata_via and sata_via kernel modules to be able to find the hard drive. Is there a test installer with a newer kernel perhaps I could install from. I really don't want to have to remaster an installer myself.

Gutsy lists these as being accepted into the kernel. Have you tried the gutsy liveCD yet to install?
