Teaching someone ubuntu

Asked by Allen

hi, I am leaving my laptop with my grandma for a few months while I am away, which has Ubuntu 9.10. She has never used anything other than that other system, so Ubuntu will be a change. I am trying to write a little short manual on how to do some common tasks a regular computer user would use,I will be in Military basic training so i will not be able to contact her and some common trouble shooting things someone would encounter. Some advice as to what to add in it would be awesome! Thanks!

I suggest you install Lucid. Karmic support ends in October 2011

You may benefit from the Ubuntu Manual
