Hi,

Go to System->Administration->Synaptic Package Manager
Then search for mysql-server right-click and "mark for installation.

You might as well want to use graphical client such as mysql-query-browser, mysql-admin

All should be installed using the Add/Remove Applications utility, or Synaptic. This way you are be sure it's compatible with the system.

Oracle won't be in the repositories though.

For mysql gui, install "mysql-admin"
For apache, install "apache2" or "apache"
For perl, install "perl"
For tomcat, install "tomcat5"

The search function in Synaptic will give you all you need, even if it's sometimes a bit too much (you have all the librairies also). But usually just select the main package for the applications, all the rest should follow.

Can you help with this problem?
