Hmm, how do I check the level of bateries in my cordles Microsoft's keyboard??

Asked by umlaut

My microsoft cordles keyborad words pretty fine, except checking bateries level, some additional multimedial keys don't work. The only thing that annoys me is that ctrl+alt+f1 doesn't do anything.

PS. Thanks for yours devotion to ubuntu :)

Hi,

have a look here https://help.ubuntu.com/community/MultimediaKeys in order to get those multimedia keys working. I think that it also mentions a Shortcuts Editor, to get Ctrl+Alt+F1 to do what you want :) I have no idea about the battery level.

Best regards,
Flavius

thanks.
As far as i can remember CTRS+ALT+F1 always switched me to the text screen. On every distribution of linux starting from 2000, when I first bought magazine with red hat ::)). At this time X was crawling :) . I really dont think it should be set by Shourtcuts Editor (I didn't find the option anyway).

PS.
I've just tried this ctrl alt f1 in this very moment, and it worked :D, I guess it did because I 've upgraded my ubuntu to 7.10, but who knows. If it's about battery level I'll have to switch to windows from time to time, as I do for my lexmark x3330. :(
