all users except initial do not have access to internet

Asked by arman.linux

Hello
I am using Ubuntu Feisty Fawn on my laptop. I am an initial user and have administrative rights.
I have configured my wireless router, so I can use this connection for internet.
The problem is that other users cannot connect to internet.
The problems occurs only when the computer is switched on after shutdown and other user logins.
when user is switched during my session there is a connection.
Thanks,
arman

The users need to be in the 'dialout' group in /etc/group. You can add them by adding them to the line:
dialout:x:20:user1,user2,user3 etc, do not remove any accounts already there. You can edit this file in a terminal using the command 'sudo nano /etc/group'
Thanks,
David P.
