Where to report 11.04 beta issues?

Asked by Mark Kaehny

Hi,
I have installed the pre-release 11.04 and figured I would help with reporting issues and such. It is working very well for me so far in classic mode with just a few glitches - update-manager seems to lose its Dbus connection and so on. I would like to check if things like this are posted already and don't want to clutter up the normal questions for release, but there seems no special place to look at issues with 11.04 or pre-releases at all that is available here. Is there something I am missing? Does ubuntu have a user forum or tracking system that is segregated for pre-release stuff? Please let me know one way or another where to post or look for this stuff.
Thanks
Mark Kaehny

PS I can't see moving off the classic version for a long time based on just a short usage of the new desktop.

I presume you have to convert question into a bug, to reach programmer of Natty.
Could you give more details, and we would be able to investigate a little and get more data.

So there is no separate pre-release place. I'll get some screenshots and file a bug, but basically I can't dist-upgrade through upgrade-manager because it is giving a can't connect to service error. Running from command line shows that it is trying to find a dbus connection. apt-get dist-upgrade works fine from command line, so it is something in update-manager. Rebooted and it did same thing in classic and regular (new) 11.04 desktops.

You can discuss issues with other users such as yourself on ubuntuforums.org in the Natty Narwhal testing and discussion subforum: http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=394

You can also join the #ubuntu+1 channel on IRC

If you think you have found a bug that no one else has found you should create a bug for it.

Can you help with this problem?
