Install broadband client software

I want to install Ubuntu on my system. I want to know if I will be able to install my broadband client software which is a windows based application in Ubuntu.

you are probably looking for PPPOE software to login to a DSL modem? Ubuntu includes this by default see:

otherwise more specific information would be helpful.

i have cricket broadband and when i insert the cd it tells me autorun cannot be found
