Dual-boot XP and Ubuntu on separate SATA hard drives (XP installed first)
Hello,
I have two SATA hard drives which first drive (WD HDD) I've installed XP and just now I've installed Ubuntu (Feisty) on second hard drive (Maxtor HDD). The problem is, I can't boot Ubuntu because there is no GRUB menu show up after reboot my computer which mean XP booted automatically. As I mentioned before, XP was on WD HDD so from BIOS setting, I've tried to put Maxtor HDD boot first but XP still booted automatically.
This is how I installed Ubuntu:-
1)Make a swap partition (1Gb),
2)And I've used entire free space to make an ext3 partition with this sign "/".
What I have to do so I can see the GRUB menu? Obviously, I don't want to install XP again, It's a long journey if someone want to install XP.
p/s: sorry about my english, i'm Asian.
